| Imagine the job's that this will create. Big Bussiness will no longer have the ability to control peoples lives. This Bill Proposes that while all media is owned by the state this will simply be a medium through which the people can decide how they view their Entertainment. Independent Public Boards will be set up to moniter the media and THEY will decide what they want to watch/listen to. In effect the Media will be owned by the people. Channels in Davostan Proposed with this bill : Channel 1: Davostan Broadcasting Agency ( A generally all round Station that shows most things. ) Channel 2 : Davostan News ( An all day news channel invigilated by Parliament and a board that will ensure the channel is free of political bias ) Channel 3 : Discovery Davostan ( A Documentry Channel that covers areas such as : National/International History, Science, Space, Wildlife, etc ) Channel 4 : Channel D4 ( Generic Station ) Channel 5 : Rock TV ( Station dedicated to rock/alternative/Prog/Phsycadelia/Hardcore/Punk etc / shows Music Videos, Live Performances and Interviews ) Channel 6 : Pop Tv ( station Dedicated to Popular music : shows Music Videos, Live Performances and Interviews ) Channel 7 : Davostan Kids (Kids Television, Eduacational and Fun!) Channel 8 : Local Variations (Channel 8 will be free for a local station, one for each of the 5 provinces) Channel 9 : DBA Comedy ( Comedy Channel ) Channel 10 : House of Representitives TV ( This station will broadcast all sessions of the House of Representitives to give people an insight into their political system. ) Television will be free of Advertising. |
