Message | For starters,it's an actual life that's being thrown away for such stupid reasons as not wanting a baby.Second of all, money used to fund abortions could be put to more useful purposes. |

Message | Nope. Abortion saves the life of the mother, even if it doesn't medically do so, in the same way that a 20-year prison sentence is a waste of a life, even if it doesn't end it. If an aborted feotus is actually old enough to possibly be a functioning child, doctors have a duty of care to that foetus as well and will try to keep it alive. Thus, abortion does not kill living children. What nonsense. I would prefer to limit abortions to the first two trimesters, and extend that time only in medical or other emergencies (but that option doesn't exist). |

Message | It doesnt kill living children,it kills possible lives. Those children could've been the thinkers and leaders of the generation, but instead are being thrown away. |

Message | "The women who are pregnant could be the leaders, innovators, thinkers of tomorrow but will be rendered incubators of the state under your proposals." - Prime Minister, Kristof Czech |

Message | So what you're saying is,women should not get pregnant because it prohibits them from being successful? |
Date | 12:44:44, December 22, 2012 CET | From | Fin Ega Defo | To | Debating the Abortion Limitation Act |
Message | Haha, no. Women should have autonomy over their own bodies. If they choose to get pregnant then that is a wonderful thing to do. If they choose not to but end up becoming pregnant anyway, or if they are pregnant with a foetus that will not survive birth, or if their pregnancy has one of hundreds of other complications, the state doesn't have the right to turn them into a incubator. |
