MessageYou've got all wrong. To provide economic growth the government has to stop taking money out of the economy by REDUCING tax and spending. There is no precedent for taxing an economy out of a recession!

MessageThis is not a recession, our economy was destroyed by a removal of government services and the public sector. We need to repair the damage.

MessageRubbish. It's not the govt's job to coerce money out of people for services they don't use. Paying for services directly, with a small welfare state to help those who genuinely can't, is the only fair way.

MessageIn an ideal world that would work, and I would support that, but until that ideal world is create, this is the best we can do.

MessageWhat gives you the right to GIVE something that isn't yours, something that was COERCED from hard working successful people, to the people who never contributed in the first place? Any tax break should be in the form of a tax REBATE to those who paid it in the first place!

MessageThe key words are "spending government money". It's not "government money", it's taxpayer's money and they should be able to spend it how they choose: not have it coerced from them and spent by the government.

MessageAny money fairly taxed by the government can and should be spent on helping the people. Anything else is a crime.

Oh, the notion that tax=coersion is definately false. A tax policy where the poor pay more than they can afford, on the other hand, is theft.

MessageBy the way: Wegason and Wouter say all the infrastructure stats are completely random at the moment. Until the economy is fully implemented you could tax everyone 100% and spend it all and we'd still have no public services!
