Bill: National Name Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Bayit Shel Zahav

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3418

Description[?]:

Our party would like to change the current name of the country from the current "Le Royaume Yeudi de Beiteinu [The Yeudish Kingdom of Beiteynu]" to the "Jewish Republic of Beiteinu (יהודיה רפובליקה של ביית)". Our reasons are that we are not a kingdom in any way nor are we ruled by a royal family. We are a republic ruled by a an elected president and cabinet. We want the name, to be more English and Hebrew, as we a mainly are a Jewish nation., so people from another nations know what type of country we are and the new name would also define who we are, more than the current name.

Article I- The name of the nation shall change from "Le Royaume Yeudi de Beiteinu [The Yeudish Kingdom of Beiteynu]" to "Jewish Republic of Beiteinu (יהודיה רפובליקה של ביית)".

MessageI am very sorry, please do not vote. I found out there is an error in the translation when I read it, when translated from "Jewish Republic of Beiteinu". I also tried Romanise the Hebrew script, but failed to do so due to distorted results. I apologise greatly. I sent the billing to voting to quick, without re-studying the bill. I will make another bill based on this bill but changed and fixed. PLEASE DO NOT VOTE.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
