Message | This kind of bill would decrease our defense forces too much, we can't accept this proposal. |

Message | While we understand such concerns we would like to take this opportunity to explain our reasoning behind these proposals. Firstly, our proposal to ban the development and usage of biological and chemical weapons is primarily for humanitarian reasons. Even in warfare, we do not believe that fellow human beings should die in such horrifying and painful ways. Also, as we have nuclear weapons which are superior to biological and chemical weapons it would save us a lot of money. Secondly, as we are in peacetime, we do not believe that people of student age should instead serve time in the military first. We should be focusing on educating our people instead, while allowing people to serve voluntarily in the army if they so wish. Thirdly, banning arms exports is a defensive measure to ensure weapons produced in Baltusia do not end up being used against us. |
