Bill: Budget proposal of December 3419 to get rid of the 315 billion BAR$ deficit
Details
Submitted by[?]: Left Libertarian Alliance of Cats
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3420
Description[?]:
The Left Libertarian Alliance of Cats propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Black Sacred Feline Empire of Barmenia. The Staliinist-Communist Black Panther Coalition government has been running a 315 billion BAR$ deficit each year. This is not sustainable. We therefore propose even across the board cuts in every ministry's budget. Additional money is taken from the Finance Ministry due to their failure to keep a handle on the deficit problem, it is clear that the money going there now is not going to good use. Additional money is also taken from the Justice ministry, because lets face it, Malik doesn't really care about Justice anyway, considering how often the Black Panther Thugs are acquitted of all crimes, so why pretend that the government cares about funding Justice issues? |

Message | The deficit comes from the LLACs irresponsible tax cuts. We will not support the cutting of vital public services. |

Message | That is absurd. Your Jelbek/Panther coalition has had a majority in the legislature for the past 21 years. The LLAC has no magic ability to cut taxes. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
