| The Whig Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Federal Republic of Deltaria. Terrorist activities and extremist have created a situation in which we must temporarily spend a little more on defense to properly meet these threats for this reason we propose increased spending for Defense, the Intelligence agency (part of Foreign Affairs), and Internal Affairs. Budget cuts were made sensibly to the Head of Government's office because logically there is no reason the Premier should have that many funds at his disposal every fiscal year. Budget cuts were also made to Health and the environment and tourism department to refelect the reforms those departments have recieved in the last decade shrinking government and expanding the role of private industry.
