Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3428

Description[?]:

Those who sell alcohol should be required to hold a license in order to do so. The sale of alcohol needs to be regulated in order to ensure, for example, that vendors of alcohol do not serve alcohol to people whilst they are drunk and disorderly.

MessageMadam Speaker, we will not support giving rise to corporatism with a government-controlled license system, which will only drive up prices, which, of course, the DSP would probably approve of. However, the Dranish people are self-reliant enough to buy from stores which they trust, regardless of governmental preferences.
