MessageMr Speaker,
I think I should clarify the causes of my opposition to the amnesty bill proposed by the Greens and backed by the socialists, which I will do with a new comical illustration: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1930&p=52071#p52071

MessageMr Speaker,

on behalf of the Lorenian government, I wish to submit this statement of Gov. Elina Cadiavera and First Minister Charles Holliday:

Open letter to the Hon. Member Yvette Rochelle:

"To the Hon. Member Rochelle,

getting straight to the point and leaving formalities aside, we wish to express our outrage over your comments with regards to the democratically legitimated administration of Loren. We feel deeply insulted by your unfounded remarks, which seem to be based merely on preconceived ideas deriving from your ideological blindfoldedness rather than actual facts. Apart from the fact that regulating immigration is the exclusive responsibility of the federal government and that the Provincial administration is by law not granted any right to interfere with this field of policy, we wish to make clear that not a single member of the government of Loren has ever issued explicitly racist comments, neither have we even stated our opinion with regards to the current dispute over illegal immigration.

Thus, we condemn the Hon. Member's cheap attempt to hit the headlines with completely absurd allegations, and demand her to immediately apologize and withdraw her despicable, libelous slandering. Otherwise, she will have to face a libel charge and a trial.

Sincerely,
Elina Cadiavera, Governor of Loren
Charles Holliday MA, First Minister of Loren"

MessageMr Speaker

Federal government regulates immigration not the policies about immigrant, and and everybody in this country knows that GNP is the most anti-immigrant party in this country about racism charges i don't accuse anybody in GNP with racism, i just stated the fact that those cartoons target is GNP and Lorenian Government. The racism charge is in Alamar cartoon which states he is in Dranland, not in Loren.

About libel charges bring it on Elina.I will sue you for defamation.I will speak with DSP and Greens Loren for Censure for both Elina and Charles

MessageMr Speaker,

that the Hon. Member Rochelle now desperately tries to backpedal by trying to re-interpret her own words indicates that she is shaking in fear faced with the prospect of her crude comments being examined by the courts. The Hon. Member clearly stated that "As a Lorenian i assure you that our local government and our governor both led by incompetent GNP, make our state an enemy of immigrants". The term "enemy of immigrants" distorts the GNP immigration policy by suggesting that we generally oppose immigration, which is absurd and would destroy our prosperity. We have pointed out numerous times that, as the party of law and order, we wish to punish illegal immigration, while DSP and GoD wish to reward it. Finally, the Hon. Member's knowledge of the Dranish political landscape seems to be pathetic, as she claims that the "GNP is the most anti-immigrant party", as if the VBSM would not exist. Then again, I recall that the Green leader once stated that she would seek co-operation with the racist, fascist and totalitarian VBSM, which proves the outrageous bigotry and hypocrisy that the green agenda is based on.

MessageMr. Speaker, I call on the House to return to the central issue of this debate, which is Vanessa Mitchell's decision to publish a reprehensible and bigotted cartoon which has done damage to ethnic relations in this country. Our position is very simple. Vanessa Mitchell was utterly wrong to have published this cartoon. We are calling on other parties to recognises the inappropriateness of her behaviour by supporting this Motion of Censure.

Antonio Benandez MP
(Leader of the Oppositon)

OOC: Just to make clear, in parliamentary terms, to "censure" somebody means to condemn something they have said or done. It does not involve "censoring" anybody in the sense of placing restrictions upon their freedom of expression. This motion is basically saying "Parliament disapproves of what Vanessa Mitchell did".

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.
