MessageWhy should an unskilled minority be given employment priority over anyone else. The Totalitarian Party feels employers should hire employees because of their skills, rather than their ethnicity, sexuality, or gender.

MessageIndeed. 'Affirmative action' increases racial tension by increasing feelings of unfairness across the board and does not address the base issue. We feel funding a national racial/gender issues awareness program would be of much more use. We also feel that, for example, a Doctor's strike or a firefighter's strike, or a police strike could result in irreparable to damage to our infrastructure and economy. We cannot support either of these proposals.

MessageWe feel quotes do more harm than good in the long run, and will be circumvented anyway. While activation of minority groups into the labour market is an important issue, we would prefer less direct and less compulsory methods.

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left.
