Bill: The Economic Strengthening of Dranland Act
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3438
Description[?]:
The Blue Shirt Movement of Magadonia recognizes the need for a change in economic policy within Dranland. The Capitalist-Right have dominated our political system and ensured that our nation stands unprotected from the greed, corruption, and acts of exploitation by Robber Barons across Dranland. They have sought, and in many succeeded, in allowing Dranland and her People to benefit these Capitalists instead of ensuring that these Capitalists are benefiting Dranland. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, we are not entirely happy with every Article in this Bill. For example, we do not believe an outright ban on child labour is necessary or desirable. However, we will vote yes for the Bill as a package. Antonio Benandez MP (Leader of the DSP) |

Message | Mr Speaker, the MBSM's economic populism is partially based on logical fallacies and partially on outright lying. Every capitalist, every new business, every contender on the marketplace is benefiting the country as a whole, and any exchange taking place on the free, unrestrained marketplace is an important element of the rapid overall growth and thriving that only capitalism can create. The state, in contrast, is stifling to innovation, competition, production and job creation in every conceivable aspect, it has no place in a modern, liberal economy. Elina Cadiavera MP Member for Loren Minister for Trade and Industry |

Message | Mr. Speaker, it is the capitalist economic system itself which is stifling to innovation, competition, production and job creation in every conceivable aspect. What we need is a socialist planned economy instead of an anarchic individualistic free-for-all. Antonio Benandez MP (Leader of the DSP) |
