Bill: Political Uniforms Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Socialist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3442
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, Dranland has a proud tradition of freedom of expression, and almost all of us here in Parliament are determined to maintain that. However, freedom of expression does not mean a freedom to intimidate others by wearing aggressive political uniforms at public demonstrations. I would like Parliament to consider introducing a ban on wearing political uniforms at political marches. Bergitte Mikkelsen MP (Leader of the DSP) |
