Message | Mr Speaker, the DSP takes issue with being called communists, but what else are they then if they dare to call for banning religious education, monopolizing curricula and establishing a single standard for millions of individuals with vastly different, unique skills who can only thrive if they attend schools that actively focus on their specific skills and talents? Mr Speaker, the DSP has become the Dranish Red Shirt Movement under Barreto, and they have indeed caught up to the fascists in terms of promoting thought control, indoctrination, collectivism and oppression. Julia Breckinridge MP Member for Ulbrach Deputy Prime Minister |
Date | 22:09:01, February 19, 2013 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the National Education Act |
Message | Madam Speaker, the Deputy Prime Minister has a nerve accusing us of "indoctrination" when he is the one who insists on indoctrinating children into the ideology of class privilege in private schools and religious supremacism in religious schools. Only a national education system can serve the needs of the Dranish people. Diego Barreto MP (Leader of the DSP) |

Message | Madam Speaker We condemn VBDSM for this unaacpetable bill. Georgia McCormick MP from Elbian Leader of Green Parliamentary |

Message | Madam Speaker, it seems like like the DSP equals every kind of individualism to class apartheid, which proves even more that their incoherent vision of "democratic socialism" is a weak excuse term for pushing for pure communism, which is exactly what the Hon. Opposition Leader apparently regards as his ultimate goal. Julia Breckinridge MP Member for Ulbrach Deputy Prime Minister |
Date | 22:26:28, February 19, 2013 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the National Education Act |
Message | Madam Speaker, before worrying about a small opposition party like the DSP "pushing for pure communism", perhaps the Deputy Prime Minister should be more worried about the way in which his boss the Prime Minister is trying to lead Dranland into civil war by legalising political paramilitaries? Diego Barreto MP (Leader of the DSP) |
Date | 22:36:43, February 19, 2013 CET | From | Grand National Party | To | Debating the National Education Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, unfortunately that "small opposition party" has the trump card of Blue Shirt backing up its sleeve, at least with regards to its aim of implementing collectivism and a socialist economy. We cannot simply ignore the DSP's attempts to crush individualism and personal freedom even though we also keep a watchful eye on all developments in the paramilitary question. Julia Breckinridge MP Member for Ulbrach Deputy Prime Minister |

Date | 23:02:23, February 19, 2013 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the National Education Act |
Message | Madam Speaker, I would like to ask Julia Breckinridge why she is opposed to private armies and yet in favour of private schools? Does she not see that the one is just as socially irresponsible as the other? Just as we need a state-run, democratically-accountable policing system, we also need a state-run, democratically-accountable education system. Diego Barreto MP (Leader of the DSP) |
Date | 23:11:13, February 19, 2013 CET | From | Grand National Party | To | Debating the National Education Act |
Message | Madam Speaker, public security is a collective instrument to ensure individual freedom, whereas private schools are aimed at enhancing individual freedom while not infringing public security at all. Is this so hard to grasp for the loony left? Julia Breckinridge MP Member for Ulbrach Deputy Prime Minister OOC: Special thanks to Frédéric Bastiat who refuted just the same objection in a book of his that I recently read ;-) |
Date | 01:22:07, February 20, 2013 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Party | To | Debating the National Education Act |
Message | Madam Speaker, in view of the social and ethnic divisions which have plagued Dranland in recent years, is Julia Breckinridge so sure that private and religious schools do not pose a threat to public security? Segregating children into different schools based on the income of their parents or the religion of their parents is a recipe for social incohesion. It is stoking up problems for the future. What Dranland needs is a comprehensive state system of education for all. Diego Barreto MP (Leader of the DSP) OOC: I've never read Frederic Bastiat. What's he like? Another one of your favourite right-wing libertarian classical economists? :) |
