Message | OOC: Hmm... I want to be federalist-leaning too, though not to the extent of the VB. Let's not let the perfect be the enemy of the good. The AF will support this, but will protest Article 4 (the funding of private schools should be the responsibility of the schools, i.e. no government funding) and Article 6 (the status quo is sufficient local autonomy, and a set of basic national standards ensure that all children get a decent education). |
Date | 22:39:29, March 03, 2013 CET | From | Unabhängige Sozialkonservative Partei | To | Debating the Devolution of Education to the Lantags |
Message | "We support the state-sponsored education policy outlined in this bill, although it is my personal view that the government should continue further legislation to strengthen the role that central government plays over education. A unified education policy is a valuable asset." Hansjörg Pauli (AGP) |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
Random quote: "If man asks for many laws, it is only because he is sure that his neighbor needs them; privately he is an unphilosophical anarchist, and thinks laws in his own case superfluous." - Will Durant |
