Voting deadline: August 3451
Description[?]:
Retsforbundet would like a more democratic form of government where the head of state is chosen by the people, this would also result in a more equal society due to the reckoning of our nation's hierarchy. This is however not possible if we don't withdraw from the treaty " Preservation of Monarchist Culture". |

Message | The monarchy is an important part of the nation's culture, so Logisk Synspunkt will vote no. If, however, the monarchy is disposed, we will put our full efforts into establishing a republic with the other parties. |
Date | 00:46:18, March 07, 2013 CET | From | League of Justice | To | Debating the Withdrawal from the treaty "Preservation of Monarchist Culture" |
Message | Why would a libertarian party ever be a royalist party? Retsforbundet has always thought that libertarians thought that everyone is born free and equal, but this might not be the case. |
Date | 03:34:17, March 07, 2013 CET | From | Indigoblå Liga | To | Debating the Withdrawal from the treaty "Preservation of Monarchist Culture" |
Message | We support a fully democratic government as well. However, in Kazulia's constitutional monarchy, the monarchy does not play a significant political role and merely represents Kazulian cultural identity and history. The Indigoblå Liga will protect the institution of monarchy in our nation as long as the Kazulian people are happy with its role and we see no evidence of dissatisfaction among our populace. |
Date | 18:47:51, March 07, 2013 CET | From | Liberal Konservative Partiet | To | Debating the Withdrawal from the treaty "Preservation of Monarchist Culture" |
Message | We are pleased that this has finally moved to a vote. There is an ongoing debate that has already been proposed. I do not wish to repeat the arguments continuously for the rest of time, but to summarise: The Monarchy is an important part of Kazulian society. The Monarch has no political power, they are simply a non-partisan figure head. The institution of the Monarchy has contributed vast sums of wealth from tourism, and has assisted in creating numerous treaties with foreign nations. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
