Message | We find this bill confused in that in some cases it is pro-civil rights, in some anti-civil rights, in some cases it is pro-federalism and in others pro-unitarism. This makes it hard for us to take a position on it and we would prefer if similar proposals were grouped together in separate bills. |
Date | 21:31:22, March 07, 2013 CET | From | Liberal Konservative Partiet | To | Debating the KRP Manifesto |
Message | OOC: Of course, that would make it easier. In some ways it is to confuse the voters themselves... IC: Can De venstregrønne clarify what part of the bill is "anti-civil rights"? There are measures that impose more regulations, but that is more of an economic regulation (for example the gambling law). We agree that some parts suggest devolving powers to our local governments, whilst others return powers to the central government, however it is not confusing that some powers should be centralised and others devolved. |

Message | Article 1 will cause more deaths and Retsforbundet will therefore not support it. Article 2 is irresponsible, the food regulation should be the same nationwide, we cannot risk good food regulations in one part of the country and terrible food regulations in an other part. Retsforbundet will therefore not support it. Article 3 is also irresponsible, we can not allow people to hurt themselves by taking all sorts of drugs and especially not in a welfarestate as the Kazulian. Retsforbundet will therefore not support it. Article 4 is a good proposal, Retsforbundet does however not wish to force anyone to be vaccinated. Article 5 is a good proposal, Retsforbundet does support it. Article 6 is a good proposal, Retsforbundet does support it. Article 7 is a odd proposal, Retsforbundet does not see any reason to decide wether or not people shall gamble in their own homes, that is a personal matter. Article 8 should rather be changed to "There are no regulations on phone service" because it costs a lot and is a socialist idea which we do not support, there shall be a free market because it would in the end benefit the costumers more. Article 9 is better than the current law, the state should not decide wether or not a business shall be allowed when it doesn't go against the other laws of the country. Article 10 is a good proposal , Retsforbundet does support it. Article 11 would be a crime against humanity, everyone shall have the right to vote no matter what, this is clearly a anti-civili rights proposal and Retsforbundet will never support such a law. Article 12 should be as it is, the current law is good and Retsforbundet will therefore not support this proposal. Article 13 should rather take all government funding away from private schools, they are after all private and shall therefore not be funded by the government. Article 14 and 15 should be both "privatized", the government has business what so ever in cultural matters, Retsforbundet would therefore remove cultural funding. Article 16 is fine, Retsforbundet does support it. Article 17 is ridiculous, the state should never interfere in matters regarding population growth. Article 18 is an anti-civil rights proposal, we should not decide where people are having sexual intercourse. Article 19 should keep its current form, we shall not decide wether or not teacher-lead prayers are taking place at schools. Retsforbundet does therefore see some good proposals, but we do also se many odd, terrible and ridiculous proposals and do therefore not support this bill. |

Message | Like the De Venstregrønne and Retsforbundet, we agree on only some of the proposals and find it hard to take a definitive position. As the bill has already been brought to a vote but we do not want to be forced to vote yes on subjects we disapprove of or vote no on subjects we support and subsequently confuse voters, we shall abstain. |
Date | 23:47:37, March 07, 2013 CET | From | Indigoblå Liga | To | Debating the KRP Manifesto |
Message | In the future, if the purpose of party manifesto is just to display the party's platform, simply open the bill to debate and do not bring it to a vote. |
Date | 23:54:23, March 07, 2013 CET | From | League of Justice | To | Debating the KRP Manifesto |
Message | You have to vote yes or no, if you do not do this the bill will pass and all these proposals will be implemented. |
Date | 16:23:51, March 08, 2013 CET | From | Kløverpartiet | To | Debating the KRP Manifesto |
Message | We pretty much agree with the posts above. We agree on some articles like 4 and 5. But we disagree on others like 1 and 7. So we voted no. |

Message | Article 1: Mines are a useful tactic in war; we agree. Article 2: We could go either way. Article 3: As long as they are held responsible for what they do when high, we don't disagree. Article 4: Agree. Article 5: Believes that the private sector should be as private as possible. Article 6: Agree. Article 7: People should be able to gamble in their own homes. Article 8: We believe that phone service should be more privatized than you suggested. Article 9: We believe that prostitution and slavery are the two things that the government may never allow an individual do to himself. Article 10: Agree. Article 11: We could go either way. Article 12: Disagree. Article 13: Disagree, if the government is going to give away 'free' education then they the government should also support private schools to some degree.. Article 14: Agree. Article 15: Disagree. Article 16: Disagree. Article 17: Disagree. Article 18: Could go either way. Article 19: Disagree. |

Message | Article 1: Disagree - The current policy restricts deaths of innocents. Article 2: Disagree - A strictly enforced national standard for food safety is essential to a healthy nation. Article 3: Disagree - We strongly believe that laws must protect citizens from harmful and addictive drugs. This policy change effectively legalizes all drugs, not only cannabis, and will cause a mass epidemic of drug related crimes and deaths. Article 4: Disagree - Complete vaccination of the population is the only way to rid Kazulia of terrible diseases. Studies have shown that those who opt out of vaccinations for religious/ideological reasons are much more likely to not only catch infectious diseases, but pass them on to others. Article 5: Agree - A central bank provides useful oversight, a national currency, and maintains financial stability of the nation. A central bank does not have to be directly controlled by the government. We espouse a central bank similar to the American system where the central bank is almost entirely independent from federal influence. Article 6: Agree Article 7: Disagree - We are fine with gambling in private homes as long as citizens hosting these events cannot commercialize it and charge admission. Article 8: Disagree - Telephone lines are now essential for communication and should be provided free of charge. Article 9: Disagree - Prostitution must remain illegal. Article 10: Agree - Or "The matter of sales of recreational drugs is handled by local governments." Article 11: Agree - By committing a crime, the criminal has failed their duty as a citizen and therefore cannot vote until they have paid their penance. Article 12: Disagree Article 13: Agree - Or "Private schools are given funding on a case-by-case basis." or "Only charter schools are given government funding." Article 14: Agree - We agree, although the current policy is also acceptable. Article 15: Agree - However, the current policy is also acceptable. Ideally we would like there to be a few large national museums and many locally operated museums. Article 16: Disagree - The national flag is not simply a piece of cloth. It represents our people, culture, history, and nation and therefore deserves respect. Article 17: Disagree Article 18: Agree Article 19: Disagree - Although in principle we disapprove of teacher-led prayers, this decision should be left to individual schools. |

Message | Article 1: Disagree Article 2: Disagree Article 3: Disagree - We support liberatism, but we need to protect our citizens from dangerous drugs. Article 4: Agree - Our citizens should have the right to opt out from vaccinations. Article 5: Agree - We think a national bank could improve national finances, and we will support this. Article 6: Agree Article 7: Disagree - We can't control what people are doing home, and they should be able to gamble privately. Article 8: Disagree Article 9: Disagree - Prostitution needs to be illegal. Article 10: Agree Article 11: Disagree - Each individual should have the right to vote. Article 12: Disagree - The current law is good enough and should not the changed in the near future. Article 13: Agree Article 14 & 15: Agree - But the current policy is acceptable. Article 16: Disagree Article 17: Disagree Article 18: Could go either way on this. Article 19: Disagree - Should not be changed. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
Random quote: "Civil disobedience. . . is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that numbers of people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience. . Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem." - Howard Zinn |
