Bill: Marriage act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3454
Description[?]:
Madame Speaker, There is no secret that the Werin Da, being strongly rooted in our Selucian Patriarchalist heritage, defines a marriage as a union for procreation. But do we really need to make this an issue for the government? Do we need politicians to define ancient customs in what they think is the appropriate way? We are in favour of keeping the government out of marriage altogether. In this way, the issue could be put on the self for a while. Political and religious communities can still choose in which way they want to define the term marriage. Last time while raised this issue, we seemed to have come to agreement with some libertarians, which we hope shall be the case again. |

Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy toward marriage.

Message | Madam Speaker, marriage is a vital institution in human society, and we think it is important that its special place should be respected within our civil code. Passing this legislation would send out the message that marriage does not matter anymore. Haneul Han MP General Secretary of the Gukmindang |
