Bill: Flat income tax proposal of November 3453
Details
Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 3454
Description[?]:
Madame Speaker, as you can see, we would actually create a larger revenue by flattening out the income tax. The Werin Da is in favour of lowering this tax further, but we first need to pass the necessary spending cuts, especially in the education sector, to not create a budget deficit. |

Message | Madame Speaker, What is social justice? Is it forcing everybody into poverty so that all can be equal? Or is it helping those in need? Our party believes in fighting poverty - not richness. It's not wrong for people to advance in their careers and earn more money from their own hard work. Canute MacCallum, MP |
