Voting deadline: May 3462
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, contrary to the hysterical ramblings of the communist pack, capitalism does not even exist in Dranland. It is currently withheld from unfolding its potential by some of the most damaging restraints on economic freedom such as 1.) currency manipulation by the state, which distorts price mechanisms and creates dangerous bubbles, 2.) subsidies for failed enterprises which prevent the market from removing structures which have not been able to prevail in the marketplace and put unjustified burdens on the taxpayer, 3.) price controls, which distort the market again and furthermore reduce incentives for starting business ventures, 4.) restraints on capital markets, which hold back investment and reduces the liquidity of Dranish businesses, 5.) subsidies for union-controlled corporations which seek to out-maneuver other contenders in the marketplace by robbing the taxpayer. If we wish to enter a new era of prosperity and liberty, we must pass this bill and legalize the capitalism that made our nation great. Colette Callahan MP Member for Loren Minister of Trade and Industry |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
