Bill: KFP 3460-3464 (03) Relocating the Capital

Details

Submitted by[?]: Kirlawa Furture Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3463

Description[?]:

We believed that our capital, as the most important city of our country, should be located near the sea.
This location is at the center of the country, it is more suitable for a Capital City.
We welcome discussion, including keeping the current location of our Capital City.
Thank you very much.

President of Kirlawa Future Party
Ms. Joyce Chen

MessageI'm afraid we disagree, sorry.
The city of Indrala is already centrally located; due to Kirlawa's shape, much of Merkan Province is right in or near the middle of our nation.
And Indrala has been the capital city for centuries; moving all of the government offices and changing all of the references, etc., would be needlessly expensive for no benefit.

If the capital were to be moved, we do agree that Nisira would be the most suitable of the possible locations to which to move it; but we certainly feel that leaving it where it is, is best of all.

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.
