Bill: Border Act of 3464
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3465
Description[?]:
.On Article 4 [maybe it keeps moving, the refugee one], DCN United is open to welcoming Immigrants to Cildania, those people who desire to be Cildanians, and well why wouldnt they, Cildania the Dawn so we will welcome those people who pursue legal immigration and who meet on individual merit the current requirements of entry. But Refugees do not desire to be Cildanians, nor do they desire to contribute to Cildania. If Cildania fell on hard times, if Cildania needed them they would do as they have done before and abandon Cildania, Refugees are people who when their nation needed them they abandon it. DCN United will not open its arms to these people, these traitors and turncoats who demand the hospitality and aid of Cildania and offer in return the promise that they will not repay that kindness with loyalty but merely flight. The enemies of homeland would turn into enemies of Cildania if allowed on our shores, and so we must not allow them. The Tariff article is to prevent the cheap foreign goods created by slave labour abroad from undercutting the prices of Cildanian manufacturing. |

Message | Are you mad thinking that Cildania will ever need the help that other nations need? We have the seventh highest GDP on Terra. |

Message | Exactly, Cildania alone is stronger and brighter than all others so why lower her to their level through holding out arms open to the worst examples of foreign loyalty. Cildania should welcome those qualified immigrations who desire to be part of CIldania for its greatness, not those low traitors who have abandoned their own nation in its time of need and through entering CIldania with no desire to act as CIldanians would act or repay Cildania in any way would taint her glory with their craven treachery. |

Message | We must accept refugees or we are terrible people. If people actually manage to illegally immigrate to Cildania, why the hell should we send such clever minds away? Why should we restrict international trade when we are a major center for it? Why should we restrict our giving of foreign aid when that will just increase the number of refugees? |
