Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, honourable members of parliament, The Werin Da does consider no marriage at all preferable to gay marriage, as the later completely destroys the meaning of the term. However, as sensible parties now finally are in the majority in this honourable chamber, we will present a piece of legislation that will restore traditional marriage, recognize it's value in a free society and try to give every child the right to one mother and one father. |

Message | Mr Speaker This is non-sense and anti-family, Why does Werin Da and its minions want to break up my family. Kenny Moriapo MP UAC Co-Leader of Coalition |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Kenny Moriapo seems to be implying that the supporters of this Bill wish to somehow break him up or separate him from his male partner. To my knowledge, not a single Member of Parliament has expressed such an intention. This legislation is solely about understanding and honouring marriage for what it has always traditionally been.
