Message | Kazulia is one of the few countries without a high-quality, publicly-funded broadcaster. We fail to understand why any party would oppose this bill. |

Message | Its not that public media is evil, its just unneccessary. The government shouldn't exist to operate media stations. How about instead of increasing our spending on this stuff we lower taxes? |

Message | Why should government not operate media if it can provide a better, more informative service with high-quality programming that meets the needs of all sections of society, as opposed to simply making a profit for some private company? |

Message | Where does the government get the money? By taking it from people. Where does the private company get the money? From other companies that wish to advertise their product. Which method is more morally sound? The second, end of discussion. |

Message | Morality of where the money comes from should not mean a sacrifice of the quality and enjoyability of watching TV or listening to radio. Before privatisation, the Kazulian Broadcasting Corporation was able to be advertisement free and provided extremely high quality programming. These days people are fed up of their programmes being interrupted by advert breaks and programmes that have been devised simply to win a ratings war. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
