Bill: Curfew Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Solentian Imperialist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2158
Description[?]:
While reviewing the Solentian Legislature, we came across a bit of legislation that allowed local governments to set a curfew. The SIP believes that all forms of curfew are a breach of civil rights; people have a right to stay out as long as they want. The establishment of a curfew is a subtle fear and obedience tactic that has no place in post-Nazi Solentia. |
Proposals
Article 1

Old value:: Local governments may set curfews, but national government does not.
Current: Local governments may impose curfews, but only if a state of emergency has been declared.
