Message | Mr Speaker, the DCP is once again trying to promote chauvinism rather than sound economics or free market principles. Apparently the conservatives do not believe in private property if they want to ban businessmen from disposing of it as they will if they receive an offer they deem adequate. Sarah Davenport MP Member for Elbian GNP Chairwoman |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Sarah Davenport seems to have developed an enthusiasm for misrepresenting DCP policies. Of course we believe in private property! In fact, as conservatives, we believe private property is the cornerstone of a free economy. However, we do happen to believe that the majority of Dranland's economy should be owned by our own citizens. Why is this so very unreasonable? Caron Rhydderch MP Prime Minister |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We believe this proposal will be detrimental to the Dranish economy, and the greater Dovanian economy. If we must limit majority-shares for foreign investment, let this penalty only target non-Dovanian shareholders. By blocking foreign majority shares we are limiting the full investment potential for Dranish businesses. But again, we understand the fear of how foreign owners would handle Dranish businesses, and for that reason, if a restriction did exist, it should only target those from off the continent.
