Bill: Supporting the Current Cabinet
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Centre Party of Gaduridos
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2050
Description[?]:
Despite the election of a new Philosopher, the cabinet appointed after the elections of 2047 is doing an excellent job at reforming and strengthening the nation. The Social Democrats took the most votes in the last election, and so should continue on as head of government. Further, the four parties currently in the cabinet still control a majority of seats and took over 58% of the votes in the most recent elections. These four parties (the SDP, NDP, PPP, and DCP) still clearly represent the majority view in the Free State of Gaduridos. Therefore, we affirm our confidence in the current cabinet. It should be allowed to continue its work. |

Message | I think there should be a new cabinet since the CRIP is not represented in the old one. |
Date | 05:31:52, May 11, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Centre Party of Gaduridos | To | Debating the Supporting the Current Cabinet |
Message | I don't see why it is neccesary to include the CRIP in a new cabinet. The majority of votes were for centre-left parties, so why should we change the cabinet to admit a conservative one? That's not what the majority wants. |
Date | 06:40:38, May 11, 2005 CET | From | National Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Supporting the Current Cabinet |
Message | I agree with the DCP, and will vote NO |
Date | 08:13:25, May 11, 2005 CET | From | People's Progressive Party | To | Debating the Supporting the Current Cabinet |
Message | In our democracy it is currently the right of the party in the executive branch to form a cabinet, the CRIP may choose to keep the current one but they have the right not too. This bill is irrelevent unless the law regarding cabinets is changed, which this party is against changing as reflected by our vote in previous bills. |

Message | Given the resounding defeat this confidence motion is headed for, the DCP cannot in good conscience continue to be a part of the cabinet. We will not wait until a new one is selected - we hereby resign from the two DCP held ministries and wish the best of luck to whatever new cabinet is eventually formed. |
Date | 23:28:30, May 11, 2005 CET | From | Benevolent Totalitarian Party - FLF | To | Debating the Supporting the Current Cabinet |
Message | We believe a new cabinet should be formed by the CRIP, the BTP, the Conservative Catholics and the DCP. |
Date | 23:53:16, May 11, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Centre Party of Gaduridos | To | Debating the Supporting the Current Cabinet |
Message | We would consider joining a cabinet along the lines the BTP suggests. |
