Bill: DHD - Budget proposal of April 3471

Details

Submitted by[?]: Dranish Hosian Democrats

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3471

Description[?]:

The Dranish Hosian Democrats propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Republic of Dranland. This makes small cuts into the general welfare of the economy, but in the event that there is no support for a hike in the corporate tax in the parliament, we of the DHD, believe that modest budget cuts are the best way to halt the deficit crisis in Dranland.

Francis Indurain, MP
Parliamentary Leader of the Dranish Hosian Democrats

MessageMr. Speaker, we are not happy about the reductions proposed to the defence and agriculture budgets. Nevertheless, the reductions are small, and we believe that on balance this is a responsible budget which would deal with our outstanding budget deficit.
