| Message | Mr. Speaker, the DCP is opposed to any substantial increase in public expenditure and taxation - and I am happy to repeat our position on that to Sarah Davenport. I urge her to consider that what she is being asked to vote on here is a Cabinet to administer the government of Dranland. Her party - just like other parties - will be free to vote on each fiscal and legislative Bill as it is presented to Parliament. A DCP-DHD-SSM coalition would not command a majority in Parliament, and would rely on the support of other parties in order to get any legislation passed. Let me add, by the way, that Dranland currently has smaller government spending and smaller taxes than it has had in a very, very long time.
