Bill: Postal Privatisation Bill
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3474
Description[?]:
This bill seeks to privatise the postal industry due to i) decreasing demand and relevance (mainly due to proliferation of online payments and social exchange); ii) the cost (This money could be put to better use either by the taxpayer increasing their consumption or investment spending or the government reallocating the resources on let's say health care or paying off the deficit.); iii) efficiency and cost structure (The taxpayer faces the large burden of doling our hard-earned cash to fund a service whether they use it or not; this discentivises the postal service from doing a good job, while hurting competition and costs for private services.). Hopefully, this short outline has convinced you of the need to privatise the postal industry. |
