| Not many remember that we previously managed to cut the income tax down to 0%, previously. We seek to do this again, but that will require a reintroduction of the sales taxes on food and clothing. The "freedom" cult have ruined the Mordusian economy by making it dependant on the vile income tax, and we hope that this cut that we propose is just a first step to abolishing it once again. Note that we're earning almost half of our income from the luxury good tax, so there is a lot of income not accounted for here. Let freedom return once more. |

| Message | Members of the Moot, Yes, the BLA both seeks to cut taxes and spending as a whole. We seek to abolish the income tax completely once again and reduce the unnecessarily high sales tax on luxury goods. We do however want to introduce a sales tax on food and clothing, to replace the income tax as the basic level of income. We see this as a much fairer way of taxation that gives good citizens complete freedom of the money the earn and rewards a sound and modest lifestyle. |
