MessageWhen this was proposed before, we supported the idea, but we have since changed our position.
Just as the national government should not force private universities to act a certain way, it should not force unions, which are private organizations, to act a certain way.
We would hope that unions respect their members enough to poll them before going on strike, and we would strongly encourage them to do so, but the national government should not force them.

MessageWe must recognize that the trade unions do not always have the time to hold a ballot of all members before going on strike. There are circumstances where the interests of the workers are so threatened, that direct actions is needed to achieve the best result.

Therefore, The Socialist Front of Mordusia is forced to vote against this bill

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed).

Random quote: "We have to face the fact that either all of us are going to die together or we are going to learn to live together, and if we are to live together we have to talk." - Eleanor Roosevelt
