Bill: Unabhängige Sozialkonservative Manifesto (1): Healthcare
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unabhängige Sozialkonservative Partei
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3488
Description[?]:
As part of the Unabhängige Sozialkonservative Partei's election preparations, a series of bills have been drafted illustrating the new party's manifesto commitments. This is the first bill, and concerns healthcare within the United Imperial Crownlands. 1. Abortions should not be funded by the state, although under these proposed plans would be conducted in hospitals at a private level. 2. The government also should not be funding contraceptives to their full value; the choice of an active sexual life should be wavered upon their merit. 3. Unchecked euthanasia can be dangerous, and whilst the USP supports adequate measures must be put into place to prevent accidents or misuse. 4. Privatization of the health service can only led to innovation and efficiency, as well as alleviating one of the most significant drains upon the Imperial finances. 5. Under these proposed schemes, drugs would be funded by the private companies overseeing healthcare centers. 6. Smoking is unhealthy, but the government should encourage the partitioning of those keen and those opposed to both smoking itself and the side-effects. 7. Vaccinations save lives, and as a result the government should be encouraging their use wholeheartedly. |

Message | (OOC: I'll vote for this primarily to get back to a conservative position, but the HDV is generally more a status quo party and would never introduce of its own accord an attempt to change the policies to a more conservative bend) |

Message | OOC: I'm a little reluctant to actually vote for these because I don't want to mess up the RP. I expect the Nationale Jugendbewegung will vote in favour, so I'll probably abstain. |

Message | OOC: But this is your manifesto, without voting on it you won't get any effect on positions and visibility. |
