Message | We have heavy rainfall and mountainous terrain. Have the RDP never heard of hydro electricity? You prefess to be a supporter of a free market. Why then does nuclear energy require a subsidy? If anything, we should be charging the envronmental clean-up costs to the nuclear industry so that the true economic price of the energy can be seen. |

Message | Hey Green Guy, look again. It is the Democratic Progressive Party, not the RDP, who proposed this bill. We support Article 1, but not article 2. Our energy generation policy is to levy taxes on pollution and the use of non renewable natural resources, but otherwise leave the free market alone. No subsidies to anyone. |

Message | I've amended this bill, as the proposal for nuclear power subsidies seemed unlikely to achieve any support. However, the party is still behind privatising all power stations, as we feel public ownership in this area is unecessary. |
