MessageOOC: The current legislation does give people a choice. It just means that if they don't say anything, their organs will automatically be donated. If they do say something, then their organs will NOT be donated. The only difference is the default for people who do not make a choice.

We believe that a person who has not expressly said that they do not want their organs used after death has no reason to expect them not to be used. The current legislation allows them to prevent this if they desire to. We of course think donation should be mandatory.

MessageThis bill adds security to the people. Should they die and there organs be harvested and then we find out that they didnt want that...then we are to blame in the eyes of the people.

MessageFor once, we agree with the Authoritarian Party. There is already choice. Changing the default will do no good.
