Description[?]:
An Act to Empower the Secretary of State for Internal Affairs or their Superiors (SoSIAoS) to ensure the security of the Empire. I. The SoSIAoS may delegate powers to local Police or Security Commanders or other authorised organisations to prevent the smuggling of arms and/or persons or other unauthorised items into the Pontesian Dynastic Empire (PDE). Such authorised persons may, with respect to all vehicles, vessels and aircraft in Pontesian territory or Territorial waters or airspace: a. Prevent a vessel or aircraft or vehicle from entering Pontesian territory or territorial waters. b. Prevent the disembarkation of crew or passengers if the local Commander considers to do otherwise would allow dangerous persons or equipment into the PDE. c. Detain any vehicle, vessel or aircraft susected of carrying dangerous persons or equipment. d. Locally suspend rights of immigration to those persons suspected of seeking to undermine the stability of the Democratic Process within the PDE. 2. Offences constituting high treason include plotting the murder of the sovereign; committing adultery with the sovereign's consort, with the sovereign's eldest unmarried daughter, or with the wife of the heir to the throne; levying war against the sovereign and adhering to the sovereign's enemies, giving them aid or comfort; and attempting to undermine the lawfully established line of succession. The punishment of treason shall be death. 3. A payment of 20 Billion PON shall be made to the Territorial Security Organisation Branch of the IETC. |

Message | Mr Speaker, We sympathize with Mr. Naguib's idea of letting religious leaders decide on the death penalty, which would be ideal for a multicultural society, but we still cannot vote for this act because of it's xenophobic content.
