Description[?]:
Members of the Parliament, The last Education Act, aprooved only with the votes of CWF and RLP, has significantly impaired our rights, and our children's. It's just horrible that ALL our schools are ruled by for-profit companies, that we have no Public Schools. Furthermore, thousands of children are being physically punished. They're learning that violence is the right way. We would save millions of RUT if we don't help families to afford private schools, if we just come back to Public Schools. Let's repeal the last education act, let's come back to our old but better educational system. David Lee Harris, DU Education and Culture responsible. |

Message | To David Lee Harris, DU Spokesman: How has the current law "impaired" the rights of Rutanians when it gives MAXIMUM freedom to the people by distributing the education budgets of the local provinces to each individual PARENT? You don't believe in freedom in letting economic and educational decisions be left to the parents and the public school teachers instead of government bureaucrats?! ---Asia L. Wright, Minister of Finance |

Message | Honourable Minister Wright, The current law has impaired our rights, because private companies can decide if my daughter can study in the school where I want her to study. Education control isn't on people's hands, it's on private companies hands. I don't mind if school private companies are ruled by high-class businessmen, or by mid-class teachers. They can decide where children study and where they don't. That impairs our freedom to choose. In the Public system, as every public school is ruled by the government, they teach the same in the same way. And that's good for people equality. Everybody has the same chance to succeed in life. Message | To Mr. David Lee Harris: Current law does NOT let private companies decide if your daughter can in the school where you want her to study because you as the PARENT have the 10,000 RUT check physically in your hand. If you don't like the way one private company is running a school, just take your student to another school on the market that meets your interests and your daughter's interests. It is that simple. Message | Honourable Minister Wright, I may have the 10,000 RUT check in my hand, but the school may not accept it. They might reject children because of their race, their religion or their look. Is it fair? If the only school in a 2,000 inhabitants village don't accept me, do I have to take my child to a school in another village? IMPARITY. Message | To the DU Spokesman, David Lee Harris: According to the laws of the Commonwealth of Rutania, we have OUTLAWED racial discrimination on the basis of race, religion, and gender. So, if a private school turns you down, you can always sue in Federal court. --Airlene Savage, Internal Affairs Minister |
