Message | Members of the Parliament. Euthanasia violates the human right to Live. Because we've got only one life, and even if we suffer, nobody should finish it voluntarily. Let's have a little bit of common sense. If a person is in pain, he/she gets tired and raves. And they want to throw to the rubbish the most valious thing that they have and they will ever had: LIFE. I and my party would only agree with a law that forbids all kinds of murder, including euthanasia. However, this proposal is better than the current law, since mad "doctors" cannot kill people without a court order. We'll vote yes, but we would like to know what are the conditions for the court to aproove a murder, "euthanasia" or whatever you call it; I suppose these conditions will be stricter than just the judgment of a doctor that just want to take a big amount of cash by killing people. By the way, those who kill people to get money, I wouldn't call them doctors, whatever they had studied to arrive there. I would call them mercenaries. Johanna Simpson, DU Justice responsible. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The C-WFP has tried for the longest to outlaw euthanasia and we were unsuccessful. While this law does not go FAR ENOUGH, we see it as a step in the right direction and will support. --Dr. Nicole S. Best, Pediatric Neurosurgeon & Minister of Science & Technology |
