Bill: Deposition of the "King of the Kyo"

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hacia Casa

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3504

Description[?]:

Ryeo Haesong has arrogantly had himself crowned "King of the Kyo" and is expecting everybody to kneel and scrape before him as though he is some kind of superior being. In this day and age, hereditary titles should not be tolerated. They are offensive to common decency and deeply damaging to the social unity of society. We therefore propose that Ryeo Haesong and all other pretended nobles should be forbidden from using titles.

MessageMr. Speaker,

If anything is damaging to the "social unity of society" it is the lies and distortions of communism. Your ideology promises so much, but delivers so little in the real world. It is outrageous that you would suggest that the King of the Kyo damages the "social unity of society." Are you completely ignorant of the whole basis of the new Kyo monarchy?

This monarchy has based itself upon the idea of "social unity" for society and it is a symbol which unifies the stateless Kyo people. King Haejo creates a common living symbol of unity for all the Kyo people of the world, and he additionally serves as a symbol of Dranish multiculturalism and diversity.

Communism cannot bring anything close to what symbols like the Kyo monarchy can bring. Communism is nothing but a utopian dream. Your ideology seeks to destroy the very things which bring unity and diversity. You seek to destroy culture and destroy people's identities for the sake of creating one mindless and identity-less mass.

Communism is the actual threat to Dranland's common decency and social unity; and it additionally an enemy of multiculturalism and ethnic diversity.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Retsforbundet agrees with ms. Leticia Saldanas, royal titles are a part of an old Dranland which was inequal, hereditary, totalitarian and authoritarian society. Retsforbundet and I condemn Ryeo Haesong and his family for ever using these incredibly condescending titles. No one in the Haesong family shall ever become King or Queen in Dranland again, the monarchy belongs to an ancient and uncivilized Dranland which we should never return to again.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Cecilie Rahbæk is showing just how ignorant she is on this matter; why do you even bother to speak about it?

"No one in the Haesong family shall ever become King or Queen in Dranland again?" No one in the Haesong family has even been monarch of Dranland; and even in the Baekgu Dynasty, they never ruled Dranland, their reign was over a completely different entity.

You are way off base with your history, and with your grasp of present affairs as well. Not only have the Haesongs or Baekgus never been monarchs of Dranland, the Haesongs have also been very open about the "cultural monarchy" concept and there are no intentions by them to ever destroy the republic and establish their family as the rulers of a Dranish monarchy.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I am sorry not to have the facts right. No I am actually not, I am not interested these "royals" besides that I do not wish them in Dranland nor in any other country in Terra.

No one shall become the spiritual, intellectual, cultural nor political leader in Dranland without getting elected first and no one should ever have the possibility to attain royal titles. It is just absurd. This King of yours should not even get the possibility to rent a square meter of Beonyeongsalm Palace, he should be thrown in to prison if anything and I do therefore urge Parliament to vote for my recent proposed bill which will ban the use of royal titles so that Ryeo Haesong can be thrown in to jail.

MessageMr Speaker,

Ryeo Haesong does not demand any political powers, he sees himself as a cultural institution, legitimated by the approval of his community and their voluntary contributions to his cause. Just as people recognize spiritual leaders as individuals to look up to, the Kyo people identify Ryeo Haesong and his family as the embodiment of an important part of their history and culture, and they should be permitted to partake in such voluntary association as a community. Cultural and spiritual leaders do not need electoral approval, because they do not hold political power, and by their vicious tirades against Ryeo Haesong the left reveals their ardent hatred for cultural diversity and anything that does not abide to their inhumane idea of enforced equality and collectivism.

I demand that the Party Leader of the Retsforbundet be censured and fined for their statements against constitutional monarchs across Terra. These remarks can damage relations and cause harm for Dranland. Until this action is taken, we will consider the Retsforbundet enemies of the state.

Retsforbundet has always been against monarchy and we did also let our opinion be heard in Kazulia which is a monarchy.

It now becomes clear that the current government indeed is a fascist government, which won't allow those who they do not agree with be heard. If anyone should be fined it should be you Peng Min for trying to limit freedom of speech.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I demand that Cecilie Rahbæk cease her engagement in dialogue with the Indralan representatives. You do not represent the position of the Dranish government and your statements towards Peng Min should not be regarded as the position of the Dranish government.

Ms. Rahbæk's strong language against the monarchies of the world is within her right to free speech, but she should not use her Dranish political position to lobby against existing foreign monarchies. This is damaging to our nation's foreign policy and can potentially send the wrong message to our neighbors.

Thank you for your cooperation.

MessageMr. Speaker,

What Peng Min accuses me of is ridiculous, I have never threatened the life of your Head of State.

This is not a matter of foreign policy, I might have said that I wish a monarchy-free world, but it is none of your concern.

And I would like to make it very clear to Rhee Seung-uk that it is Peng Min who should stop interfering in Dranish policies. I do of course not represent the Dranish government, but I do surely represent a large part of the Dranish people which Peng Min does not. I do therefore have the right to adress this issue which he does not because he is an Indralan official, not a Dranish.

And of course I should be allowed to to speek freely about my opinion about monarchies, I will however not interfere in the policy in the countries who have monarchies, but it doesn't change the fact that I see it as a bad thing.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We are anti-Kyo? Our party formed in defense of the Kyo people. We formed out of the solidarity of the people of Gongmangdo-Comares after the 2/20 attacks. These attacks on our party are outrageous. The actions by Ryeo Haesong and Rhee Seung-uk are such minor things, but yet the Opposition has been actively turning them into major political issues.

Why? Only for one reason. Politics. The only reason the Opposition cares so much about these recent events is because they want to use it as a base to make more attacks against the ruling coalition. They are taking recent events and distorting the facts and launching all varieties of defamation against us.

Not everything is a political issue. The cultural monarchy created by Ryeo Haesong was not a political issue, it was merely a cultural institution. The Opposition should focus on real political issues, instead of creating a circus with all the attacks and allegations against the Ryeos and the KDF.

MessageMr. Speaker, the intervention of the Indralan Foreign Minister has been extraordinary. Who does he think he is, butting into Dranish affairs and telling us how to run our own country?

The introduction of the Kyo monarchy is a farce, designed to bamboozle the masses with medieval buffoonery whilst their feudal-capitalist overlords press on with their anti-egalitarian agenda. Trying to win support for a monarchy will be only the first step towards trying to abolish democracy in Dranland, so that the ruling class can pay even less heed to the working class than it does at the moment

MessageMr. Speaker,

Barring the intrusion of the Indralan representative, what is the real issue with the self-proclaimed monarchy? If Ryeo Haesong chooses to call himself "King" what is the issue? The government is not demanding that anyone recognize him, nor is it intruding on his right to free speech. He is carrying out his actions strictly as a private citizen. He has no political power, and he is not trying to usurp powers from Iglesia Mayor. I see no issue with his actions.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Queranzariah has no basis for anything in Dranish law. Dranland is a secular state and the Ryeo monarchy isn't even expressly affiliated to either the Selucian Patriarchal Church or to Sindo, the only two faiths of which individuals in the Ryeo family are members of.

Your talk of false prophets and what not is completely irrelevant to our society.

I believe that your so called constitution has a provision for freedom of speech and respect of faith, I believe that I have the right to express my opinion in this chamber, therefore dismissing my views as irrelevant is a rather poor show.

Regardless, we condemn any monarchy that has no spiritual basis, while we respect that you may wish to worship any self proclaimed holy rock or suchlike we shall continue to work off the noble teachings of Akim and his prophet Ahmad.
