Bill: Withdrawal from the Capitalist Manifesto of 3438

Details

Submitted by[?]: Radical Democratic Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3504

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

Even though the Isolationist Party may be a rightist political force, they cannot possibly call themselves isolationist in any way if they allow Mordusia to be governed from abroad. This undemocratic treaty is restricting the rights of the Mordusian citizens, while strengthening the influence of foreign governments in our nation. Even though the Isolationist Party most likely supports some or all of the conditions of the treaty, I would assume that they would prefer to have capitalist laws enacted by the Mordusian people for the Mordusian people in a democratic way. Therefore I ask the Isolationists to accept our nation's withdrawal from the Capitalist Manifesto of 3438.

- Colin Black,
RDP leader

Random fact: Periodically, it is a good idea to go through your nation's Treaties and arrange to withdraw from any that are unwanted.
