Mr. Speaker,

Recent scientific evidence and research suggests that ADULT Stem cell technology is MUCH more beneficial to curing diseases like cancer than the controversial practice of destroying human embryos (babies in an undeveloped stage---We were ALL there):

MessageHonourable Minister Mosely,

That's a research about what kind of research is better? I think it has no sense at all.

And, of course, embryonic research will be with the consent of the mother; after an abortion, for example.

MessageMr. Speaker.

The Democratic Union introduced this Bill without expanding upon it with any discussion what so ever. Not knowing enough about this issue and the possible risk to young human life, we are going to err on the side of caution, and vote against expanding the research into embryonic or fetal stem cells

Mr. Neumann:

How can your party be saving HUMAN LIVES when you support the *intentional* destruction of human embryos just to "use" them to cultivate their stem cells??? Technology has proven that ADULT stem cells are *better* in producing results to cure cancer etc.
