Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3506
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, forests should belong to those who work the land, namely farming families and forestry companies. Government bureucrats should be stripped of controlling such vast strips of land, nature is a resource of the people and not a government asset. For the same reason we propose to reform the national park system into an ecological preservation network administrated voluntarily by private individuals. We also propose to relax water regulations, as a single standard determined by government is too restrictive. Timothy Breckinridge MP Member for Magadonia RFR Ecology Spokesman |

Message | Mr Speaker, As we believe in the market system, we would prefer the government to subcontract forestry to private companies, while maintaining public control. This bill is, however, one of complete irresponsibility and stupidity. The natural riches of our sacred realm shall not be left to be exploited by foreign corporate interests. Message | Mr. Speaker, For once, I agree with Mr. Maelic! We are ambivalent towards relaxed drinking water regulation, but seriously question the reasoning of Mr. Breckinbridge. Allowing private companies to exploit our natural resources will not give it back to the people; corporations are not people! Gladys Rhys-Evans (DC) Draddwyr Cynghrair Pennaeth |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This is a terrible bill which be devastating for the environment, but once again the ED, RFR and PP don't care about the KDF's position on this issue. The KDF does not have any kind of influence on the government's policy. Their clinging to their offices is a serious democratic problem. Message | Mr. Speaker, this appalling Bill is a disgusting attempt by the capitalists to pollute and degrade the environment the working man and woman has to leave him. Timothy Breckinridge obviously hates working-class people so much he even wants to poison the water they drink. Does capitalist immorality know no limits? Message | Mr. Speaker, We are not going to attack our coalition partners over ecological issues, and in general, issues that we know we have differing opinions on. Yes, we are not voting in line with our partners, we knew this sort of thing would happen when we allied with them. This has been occurring since 3500. There is no democratic problem. The coalition in power is one interested in protecting Dranland against communism and it is one interested in the well-being of the Dranish people. We have different visions of how to get there, but we realize that we can work together and find compromise to reach our goals. And our differences on ecological issues are not going to threaten our progress, nor are our differences on ecological issues a sign of a dysfunctional democracy. That is as absurd as your political career, Ms. Rahbæk. Alejandro Xi Marcelino, MP KDF Vice-Chair Member for Elbian |
