Message | Why? We signed the new Neutrality Pact, that should be enough. |

Message | This is so we can upgrade our relationship between our nations. We are also negotiating a land deal with them and major investing will occur there soon. Mordusia will be taking in a major amount of Dundorfian exports. For the first time in Dundorfian history the armed forces we include a naval force that will be docked there. Will the KNP please vote for this treaty so that we can accomplish major goals? |

Message | Is Mordusia really the only nation we can do this with? While the economic aspects of the treaty are fair enough, we question the pracitcality of stationing Dundorf's navy in a nation halfway across Terra. Wouldn't a nation closer to home be better for such a purpose? Furthermore, we believe it would be best if any future military cooperation with Mordusia were linked to the Neutrality Pact, as an incentive to keep Mordusia from breaking said Pact (again). |

Message | I have great trust in Mordusia, and it's leader. There is nothing wrong with this treaty, or the economic-military-link to it. This will serve as a start to our expansion as a nation. Besides, as I recall I did task a certain Minister of Foreign Affairs to complete regional deals here at home. Since that did not get accomplished, we have this treaty as a highpoint for this terms government. If the KNP wishes to hsve a closer naval base, then I urge them to get their act together and make some deals. |

Message | I would remind members of this legislature that the Canal of Aldegar is at Mordusias Northern most border. Given this convenient water way and the fact that Mordusia is located very near the vented of terra a naval base of dundorfs in Mordusia would be in fact very practical. Not only would this treaty give Dundorf a gateway to the seas but also the most central ones at that. Almost every single military conflict in terra in the past hundred years has taken place in the southern hemisphere. If Dundorf wants to defend its self and its allies and democracy, the southern hemisphere would be the best place to have a naval base and mordusia provides easy access to either side of delegate. While you are landlocked and cozied around other nations, if a warmongering nation comes for you they will first have to go through the countries around you and the best way to stop them from getting your neighbours is stopping them before they even arive on the continent (be the attacker from overseas). The best way to do this of course would be with a navy. Besides the enormous benifits of having a navy, this treaty along with it are deals that would have strong economic ties to Mordusia which has been rated as one of the top 5 wealthiest nations in all of terra (if you want the link just say the word and ill dig through my messages and find it). This treaty also establishes free trade between our nations and again we are one of the richest nations in the world thanks to economic reforms in the late 3400s. As for Mordusia 'breaking the treaty' I'm not quite sure how long I will have to go on apologizing for an event that occurred before I was even Chancellor. I will say this however: we apologized and as soon as we found out the international community felt we were in violation we ordered an asap halt of supplying zardugal with funds. On top of that we also overhauled the entire neutrality pact and made a new one that specifically said we cannot provide allocations or be a benefactor of war in very strict wording. We also set it up so any nation that ratifys the treaty can challenge our diplomacy in any way and for any reason no matter how absurd. New Treaty, New Mordusia. And lastly all former ratifying countries of the Old Mordusian Neutrality pact how withdrew from it who backed Deltaria have forgaven us and ratified the new version of the treaty. Now what we did wasn't right, and we have admitted that. But that has nothing to do with this treaty. And finally I would like to ask the members of this legislature to stand up for economic growth in Dundorf and mordusia, to stand up for a strong dundorf, to stand up for a protected dundorf and mordusia and to stand up for democracy and ratify this treaty. God bless you all. -Chancellor of Mordusia, Rebecca's Mordus United Mordusia |

Message | As of April 3510, Dundorf is protected under Article IIIc of the Artanian Union Charter. [You know, the Artanian Union? The Treaty that the KNP proposed ratification of?} An outside nation, especially one that is overseas, would be foolish to risk war with the AU over Dundorf. We had already stated that we were not against the economic aspects of this treaty, finding fault with the impractical, unnecessarily binding military agreements. Regardless of whether or not we'll have a functioning navy, why should Dundorf be the primary protector of a nation halfway around the globe? Couldn't Mordusia find another nation, closer to them, to fit that role? Or has Mordusia's reputation been more tarnished than previously thought? Signing the new treaty does not indicate forgiveness, much as abandoning the old treaty indicate support for Deltaria. If most of the wars are being fought in the south, then why should Dundorf risk the lives of its own people when it is not in danger? We would only agree to those military agreements IF the treaty is amended to be made dependent on the status of the Mordusian Neutrality Pact [if the Neutrality Pact is broken, and recognized as such by the signatories of the Pact, then this treaty, or at least the military aspects of it, shall be declared void]. Again, were this an entirely economic and/or cultural/social treaty, we would support it. |

Message | Dundorf would only go to war IF Mordusia was invaded by another nation. If they attack someone else then we are not forced to go to war. Plus if there were a war in any case we would still have to vote to declare war. The KNP should understand that we keep this nation's future in mind, and only want to see great things happen to our people. |
