Bill: Legislative Term Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Leftist Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3518

Description[?]:

This bill shall first be discussed before being put to vote.

The Leftist coalition would like, in the light of approaching standard democratic customs, to shorten the legislative period from now 72 monghts (sic), meaning six years, to 48 Months. We are ready to debate this item.

Alternatively, should the other parties not agree on any discussion on this topic, the Leftist coalition, in the light of the newly changed political landscape and in the name of the people, request new elections. The parties represented in the sénat may discuss one of the two items as options.
