Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3518

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,
There are times when the government must be allowed the limited and controlled authority to go into private records to advance investigation of the civil and criminal type. We must strike a balance between keeping the state in check to make sure it doesn't snoop on everyone while allowing it the limited and checked power to go into records and use them for legitimate investigations.
