| Message | The SFP would continue to support Titles of Nobility (article 1) if new titles were permitted to be granted alongside existing ones -- we oppose allowing only an entrenched aristocracy access to titles. If titles were (are?) permitted to exist, new ones must be issued on the basis of merit. We also oppose hereditary titles and we support taxing inheritance. (sorry Jacobites) |
