Voting deadline: August 3519
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, Many citizens living in unpopulated rural areas of the country are left with no internet coverage options from private companies. Certainly we must all recognize the necessity of the internet in this day and age. We believe access to the knowledge and education provided with access to the internet shouldn't be denied to any citizen. We propose the creation of a national Internet Service Provider that would exist without harming any private ISPs in our country. Iason Toles Red Freedom Party |

Article 1

Old value:: Private companies provide internet service throughout the nation, without government interference.

Proposed: The state owns and operates a national internet service provider, alongside private ISPs.

Message | Mr Speaker, we cannot establish a government company for every eventuality, except if we scrap the idea of fiscal responsibility entirely, as this government seems to be determined to do. If someone decides to live in a remote rural area, that person probably has priorities other than instant access to the internet. Daniel Steward MP Member for Magadonia RFR Infrastructure Spokesman |

Message | Mr Speaker, Assumptious attitude of Mr Steward is what is wrong with libertarianism. Every single time they want to get the government out of people's life by force. I mean many of my constituents and I guess many of other MPs constituents got rid of that, Sir I want you to get this, me and my party trust neither government nor private companies and believes a balance between them is the best for Dranland. Corporatist nature of RFR kills me. I yield. Brad McCluster MP Trade and Industry Spokesperson |

Message | Mr Speaker, getting government out of people's life means the abolition of force wherever it occurs. Government is always force, compulsion and oppression, while private companies operate solely on basis of voluntary exchange. And if Mr McCluster and his fellow semi-socialists believe that a mixture of force, compulsion and oppression and freedom is in any way coherent or beneficial, then he should advise his leadership to remove both the 'R' and 'L' from their party name. Message | Mr. Speaker, we prioritise getting important services over being unnecessarily tight with our purse strings. While we would not do this for every eventuality, where the deprivation of a certain service would lead to a substantial impact on someone's ability to fully participate in our vibrant society, we feel that the government ought to step in.
