Message | Mr Speaker, this is an act of mindless job destruction and rabid class-warfarist zeal, which should be shred in pieces by this assembly with a blistering 'no' vote. John Holbrooke MP Member for Valdor Minority Leader |

Message | OOC: Psst, remember the OOC fiscal readjustment plan? So don't get too pissed, although this obviously amounts to an IC tax change as well. Same goes for income tax. |

Message | OOC: Didn't we agree on an IC spending/tax scheme already? Although if there is a general consensus on this, I would vote in favor. Although it remains hard to explain where these rates would come from, since 17 years of right-wing rule would surely have reduced them to at least, say, 30%. |

Message | OOC: Well, that the one we had was still a bit retarded, given that government spending is in the teens. Also, as I said, this is part OOC, part IC. So this is a tax increase - except not as much as it would otherwise seem. |

Message | OOC: Well yes, I'm gonna vote in favor of this because I can then promise to lower taxes ahead of the next election :-) Take it as an OOC vote though, I doubt the RFR in its current state of rage would support any tax hikes whatsoever. |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
