MessageWe call to Father Tendaji's attention that it is not the province of himself or this very body to decide upon the guilt or innocence of anyone. That being said, Deltaria does not forgive, but the Czar does. Former Cardinal Martinek will be released from the Monastery of Saint Volos and be allowed to live in exile in the Holy Luthori Empire. Our only condition is that he be allowed to live within the TPC church next to the Deltarian embassy, and that he be accompanied by two monks, personally selected by the Czar. In return, we guarantee for Father Martinek's safety and well being.

MessageThe father of the nation, Cardinal Vladan Martinek, has communicated to us that he refuses to willingly leave Deltaria. His words were, "If Boh allows me, I will remain in Deltaria to the end of my days, and follow my fate wherever it leads".

Instead of trying to exchange one form of imprisonment for another, perhaps the government will finally release this innocent and holy man?

MessageThe former Cardinal was already shown more than enough mercy by being spared execution, and even more now that he is being allowed to live in improved conditions. It is foolish to refuse the generosity of those that have shown you mercy. More so when the Holy Luthori Empire has accepted our conditions for Father Martinek's transfer and awaits his shipment to Luthori. If Martinek continues to refuse, he can be transferred against his will, as he continues to be a criminal under the laws of Deltaria.

MessageCardinal Vladan Martinek, the conscience of the nation, has let it be known to us that he intends to go on hunger strike until the authorities reverse their decision to force him out of the country. If necessary, he will continue his hunger strike in Luthori, until he is returned to the country where he belongs. Let me repeat that our leader will not willingly leave Deltarian soil.

MessageIf he wants to fast to death, let him. It will show Deltaria that he is indeed a saintly man and that he has repented for his transgressions against Boh and Czar. Who are we to prevent such piety from one man? If he does perish, we shall ask the Holy Sobor to canonize him.

MessageWe can all see through the obfuscations of the Czar's villainous advisers. Nevertheless, now that the threat to deport him to Luthori has been lifted, Cardinal Vladan Martinek has agreed to end his fast.
