Message | SCP, do you realize that currently in our nation you can go and kill 50 people and just go spend your life in jail. Dang, Jail is not such a bad deal in our nation, we have reformation programs, totrue is prohibited, and if you are able bodied you have to do a miniscue amount of work to cover your room and board. You get a very decent living behind bars in our current society with the punishmen of live in prison, and this creates a strain upon our society because the money from taxes has to go to fund the feeding of these prisoners because they can not create enough revenue to offset the cost of supplying them with food, drinks (not neccesarily just water), running water, electircy, housing, television, laundry and the list goes on. |

Message | Redneck Party, this is not a matter of whether it is right to kill 50 people or not, this is a question is if the Government has the right to kill of it's own citizens, does the Government has the Right to give a man the job of murder (the executioner), it is also a matter of defining a Capital Punishment. And the level of certainty, you can't just go back and say "Oh sorry, we got the wrong chapp, Tallyoh, better luck next time EH ? " at the grave of the executed fellow. And i do not think you are in a position to question our view concernign criminals, we have put up several legislations to make prisonlife far more of a punishment and not a free education center luxarious hotell like it is now. But always been voted down by the liberal-wishy-washy-socialist lovers-nanny-state-enforcers. :) So we would attack this problem in antoher way.. removing some of their luxarious to make it cheaper, and more of a prison.. but that is beside the point.. We are not against death penalty, not at all, but we know that the international view of those who has it is that they are barbarians.. So as said, we refrain from making our final voice heard untill a later date. |

Message | SCP, leave our image up to the Foreign Minister. That is her responsibility and not yours. If you are not against the Death penalty then why on God's green earth are you opposing it? |

Message | I have never said i am against it nor that i am opposing it, it is that i see problems with death penalty, and those are not solved by saying that the Foreign Minister will deal with it. It is the responsibility of every good citizen of this realm to think of the good of the nation, not to divide it that ONLY the Foreign minister cares about foreign affairs, and the rest of us do not care at all, that is how a tolitarian dictatorship works, not our democracy. You might freely, and withour problem, go around executing people, innocent or guilty, does not matter, for it is not like any, and especially not ours, juridicary system is without flaws. We must see hte pros and cons of any decision before making a final decision, not run around like astray sheeps going our own path without the knowledge of what is ahead. |

Message | From the desk of the minister of justice, Chris Seidl: I have heard discusions that it is neccessary for each citizen to be corncered with the bill poposed by the redneck party on the issue of capital punishment. Allow me to make clear that we do not plan on using capital punihsment lightly. According to laws currently in affect by our government each person is appointed a lawyer and if you can not afford a lawyer as in the case of low income familes, the government shall appoint you. Each person who would be issued the death pentalty would be only done so after through judical procedure. As far as the concern on the death pentalty as viewed by other nations, yes not an overly large amount of other nations have the death pentatly, so these would make us a leader in the eyes of many people and let us step above and beyond the norm and let the Tribes show that we can be leader, that we are not afarid to stand up for an issue which we believe. Thank you and God Bless. |

Message | I would like to introduce to the floor the partial transcript of what the SCP has stated: "We are not against the death penalty, not at all, but we that the international view of those who has it is that they are barbarians." So if you are not against the death penalty then what are you against? As to what other nations think of us, that should be left up to the Foreign Minister. |

Random fact: In cases where players have failed to clearly and accurately reference their nation's RP laws in the "Bills under debate" section, Moderation will rule them invalid if a challenge is made to their validity. |
Random quote: On 7th February 4281 a group of renowned Metzist experts from all across Terra met in Haldor to form the International Committee for the Estimation of the End Date of Capitalism (ICEEDC). With the assistance of a powerful computer, they calculated that capitalism will terminate Terra-wide on 6th November 4320, and in Dorvik on April 17th 4310. We have no reason whatsoever to believe these very eminent and learned scholars are wrong. They have never been wrong about anything before. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
