Message | Although KPJP prefer the current laws on most of these issues, we would be happy to vote for the tariffs one if proposed separately, please. (Our preferred position on that one being "The nation allows for imports, but imposes protectionist tariffs and quotas on all imports" -- so the proposed change would of course be closer to this than the current law is.) |
Date | 17:25:42, August 20, 2013 CET | From | Democratic Party | To | Debating the Arise the Republic - X |
Message | We wouldn't go as far as imposing it on all imports, but we'll probably propose the same article in a separate bill in the near future. Since that's closer to the preference of the KPJP, the Democrats expect that the former at least will not vote directly against such a proposition. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
